New Partnership formed to enter Indian Market

Along with five Danish companies VCS Denmark have joined a partnership who will enter the Indian market with technologies to manage wastewater.

India is struggling with environmental challenges, and in the capital New Delhi than less 50 per cent of the city’s 13 mill. inhabitants are connected to a wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater stream directly to the rivers and spread watertransmitted deceases. Existing treatment plants use antiquated and technologies and need to be updated.

At first the partnership will demonstrate Danish technologies at a treatment plant in New Delhi.

The partnership is a new approach to the foreign markets. Together the Danish companies are able to take on comprehensive tasks, which is neccesary on the great foreign markets.

The partcipating companies are: VCS Denmark, Danfoss, Grundfos, Siemens Turbo Machinery, DHI and COWI.

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency has financed the activities ind the partnership. Danish Water Forum (the network of Danish water organisation) and the Embassy of Denmark in New Delhi have supported the initiative.
