New name
As of January 1st 2010, Odense Water changed its name to VCS Denmark.
The name change is a reflection of the company's ambitious growth strategy, and marks the beginning of a new era in Danish water and wastewater management, explains CEO, Anders Bækgaard:
- Our old name tied us to a very limited geography, the city of Odense. In recent years, however, we have grown well beyond the city limits. And we plan to keep on doing so. Today we market our services both nationally and internationally.
